Overview

The Smart Communication Module (SCM) is a master gateway that is suitable for all IO-Link components. The SCM can control two devices with its two channels and functionally offers the direct conversion of IO-Link to digital I/O signals and vice versa. It thus enables IO-Link devices to be integrated into a digital infrastructure and to be used for the extended range of functions of Yaskawa robots with IO-Link components.
